I feel your pain. The same thing happened to me on main trail in June. I was unable to find someone to fill in and went by myself. It was great anyway, in fact I ended up meeting more people than I probably would have climbing with my friend.

There is plenty of good company to be met on the mountain. Good luck finding someone, but if you can't make sure you go anyway!

The same thing happened to me a few years ago, my brother bailed for work. I also went by myself - met a great guy that happened to live in my neighborhood and we became friends. It was main trail.

What is your schedule? I might join in - never summited from the MR but I've been thinking about it lately.
