I've recorded a pop rock song inspired by my stint as a climbing bum in the Sierras. The lyrics are a little ambiguous in places to appeal to a broader audience, but I hope that members of this forum will relate to them nonetheless. You can listen to The Wild Groove at myspace.com/sampage -- it is the first song on the music player in the upper right.

I should mention that this is not a commercial post, as I have nothing to sell. I hope you like the song!

I downloaded a song about the sierra by Boz Scaggs whick I like, I wondered if anyone knew much about the origins of that one? I had it on my phone whilst trekking the sierra last year; i'll go have a listen to yours right now though, cheers.

Thanks Pike!

I don't know about the origins of "Sierra" by Boz Scaggs, but someone posted a video on YouTube of the song that includes Sierra photos.
