Hey gang, I am looking for a used Garmin or similiar GPS for hiking and backpacking. Needs to be able to load topo maps. Just need something that works and is cheap. Did you upgrade....and have an old unit collecting dust? Thanks DIP

Thanks for the great info. I did check out WalMart. Looks like a good deal. Thanks for all the help. Guess I was just having a bad day. Don't want to get lost again. DIP

I just noticed that Costco also has the 60CSx for $199. Given Costco's reputation for standing behind products they sell, they would have the edge of Walmart IMHO.

If you are looking for a good unit, and are not in a hurry try the REI parking lot sales. I have seen a few nice ones there cheap.
If your worried about geting lost, maybe practice your map and compass skills more. I would never put all my trust GPS, batteries die, they can fail.
