October 2007. 3 nights at Trail Camp. Pond froze on first night. Sustained hurricane wind on the ridges. Snow and sustained +50MPH winds at Trail Camp (aka the most desolate outpost on earth...that week). Down to -10 deg F in tents prior to heating. Braced Snowed when it warmed. Two of our tents were all season. 1 was not and they suffered. Summary? Don't waste time with ultralight tents. It is not worth the 2 or 3 # of savings. MWPT, day trippers and over accessibility have given too many the impression that MW is not a real mountain. It is and deserves respect.

wow! that's amazing. how were you able to stay warm and alive? i heard Trail Camp is not the place to be for a novice. a novice would be in big trouble!

When in doubt, go up.

Not sure if this would still be of interest, but the MSR Twin Sisters is a 4 season UL option.

At 33.7oz(2.1lbs) and 45sqft, it is more then enough for two.

If interested here is the URL: http://cascadedesigns.com/msr/tents/essential-series/twin-sisters/product

I'll be taking it up MW(also with a eBivy) at the end of the month. I'll be sure to post how it holds up.
