No point in heading up if I can't.

Two road closed signs up today. Kristine says the road was open
and signs pushed away last weekend. She drove up to overrlow parking.
I didn't want to move signs and go up. Caltrans is probably working on the road
today.
Rumor has it that Doug will open this weekend. If so, see ya up there
for a cold one on me.

Hi It was next Monday for the road now it is maybe Friday ,We have the loop road open at the store , but the FS will chain off the parking lot at the backpackers campground to clear a hazard tree , this may happen on Friday so if the road is open PLEASE PARK IN THE OVERFLOW LOT the tree is very tall and very dry so when it hit the parking lot branches will fly! Stop by if you are coming up bring snacks. Thanks Doug

Hi Doug, Excited about the opening. A few of us are doing the Wild Wild West Marathon on Saturday, May 7th. Any chance of burgers after the race? Cannot wait to come on up.

The store opened today. I had the honor of being the first customer this morning.
Breakfast was fantastic and even went back for a burger later in the day.
I'll be back next week for that great chicken salad and who knows...maybe do some hiking.
