A few of us are going to hike Half Dome on Saturday the 21st and are hoping some of you can share recent recon on the trail conditions. We will likely take the JMT from Happy Isles up. Have any of you recently experienced or heard reliable information about snow conditions on the trail? Are crampons or ice axe necessary?
