Hello,
I'm planning my JMT for July/August of 2012. I'm planning on a resupply in Le Conte Canyon via Bishop by mule. If anyone is interested in splitting a resupply cost please let me know. The cost is $600- for 150lbs. So, the more who are in, the cheaper it gets. I am open to the drop location, however, the Le Conte Ranger Station seems about right. We could also do above Independence.

Biggest problem with packer resupply is that you have to be there on the date agreed on. You're not there, they have to pack it back out. And if you want to share this, you are essentially asking others to hike along on your schedule. unlikely to happen unless you post exact pickup dates. Even then, unlikely.
