Anyone coming through Mammoth on their way to Whitney and hoping to go down to Devil's Postpile will likely have to wait at least another week, with estimated opening on 6/24. As of now, they're only a mile or so past the Minaret Summit area and still have 4-8' of snow over the road down the slope, with several avalanche chutes to clear, as well.
That's also the access to the Agnew Meadows trailhead up to "my" mountain,
Mt. Ritter.
