Does anybody there have contact information for a shuttle service who would help leave a car at one trail head and drive us to another?

Hi Sierra Cement,

This summer I hiked both the entire John Muir Trail and the entire High Sierra Trail. Lingering snow and raging creeks made me alter some of my initial plans. I used the Eastern Sierra Shuttle Service, LLC ( formerly the Mt Whitney Shuttle Service) on four occasions this summer. They went beyond the call of duty to accommodate my last minute change in plans. They were prompt, courteous, and sincere. On one occasion they were a valuable source of trail conditions (which they had just gathered from another client they had recently picked up at a trail head). I also used this service in 2009 and 2010 and again they made a favorable impression.

Their business phone is (760) 876 1915. It preferable to call in the evening.

Thanks Jim! This is very helpful information. As it turns out I have met these people a couple times at various trail heads just by random chance. I never knew how to reach them though. Much appreciated!

As always, enjoy reading the Whitney Board! Thought this was a good place for a thought. For us "O.G's" who remember, (that's if we can between the memory lapse and the brew, to recall the fun times of makin the 'ol bod" do what the mind wanted it to do, cause we were still too stupid and dumb to go beyond the pain to get that rush of accomplishment), like to live vicariously through all your posts. Couldn't help but notice though - seeing this post - when'd ya all go n get shuttle service to the summit????? Technology's shore movin along! To all you M.W. climbers, know this O.G enjoys your posts! stay safe and "cheers" to your summits! Don't forget your wag bags, n be kind to them jack asses, I mean those mules. (Okay, I'll stuff it before anyone sheds some loose skin on the sore subject!!!!!!

I used High Sierra Shuttle after hiking the High Sierra Trail in August. Blair and Victoria were very accomodating and picked me and a friend up at Whitney Portal upon finishing our hike.
