Question for those that have summitted Mount McAdie from Arc Pass: How is the 3rd class downclimb from the middle summit to the notch just south of the north (and highest) summit It seems this is the crux of the whole route. Is it easy to get off route? Are the holds solid?

I was looking for some good photos with possible markups of the downclimb from the middle summit. I didn't see much good ones online - not sure if anyone has one. I'm ok with the rest of the route descriptions.

It's been 20 years (almost to the day) since I climbed McAdie. I went up from Arc Pass and traversed on to Discovery Pinnacle, Whitney, and Muir (in that order). I remember the climb up to Arc Pass to be nasty scree. The rock on McAdie was very enjoyable class three. It's been a long time, but I don't recall the need for any route-finding tricks. There seemed to be plenty of different ways to go.

I bypassed the middle summit and traversed directly into the notch between the middle and north summits. I found it pretty straight-forward. Here are some links that might help you with the standard route you are planning:
