Weekend 23 for me...

Check out the beaming Andew on his first foray to fourteen K...

Lots of photos of the folks I was climbing with yesterday...
If you're heading up anytime soon, I'd (as Shin would say) study this album...

I was supposed to be doing a section hike on the PCT this morning... Just plain lazy!

Congratulations Andrew et al!

Great pictures Richard! Some of the pics on page 2... "These are what make the Main Trail so interesting in "winter."" definitely looked interesting! smile

I was so delighted to see Richard at Trail Crest. He started off as a spec in the snow behind us and just as we reached Trail Crest he pops his head up (mind you, he's not even breathing hard nor wearing crampons). Andrew from New York who I met at Trail Camp (has never done a peak higher than 6500 ft), worked his ass off to reach the summit. I have a video of Andrew's triumph on my flickr account as well as some additional photos from the trip. http://www.flickr.com/photos/79580061@N07/sets/72157629921341413/

Yesterday was a very cool day (and I'm not talking weather; that couldn't have been better) on Whitney. Glad to have run into you... nice photo/video set!

Nice job, everyone. I'm especially glad to see that Carine made the summit after having to turn back on the MR last month. Go Carine!

Thanks.

We should also start wishing Carine well. She's heading to AK in a little over a week!

Richard, are you posting pictures on the section hike? Ahh, never mind, just found them on your website.
