Nope, not photoshop. I've seen this phenomenon a couple of times before, but it is a pretty (in more ways than one) rare occurance.

Beautiful! I always love anticrepuscular rays... and regular crepuscular rays too!

I have seen something very similar to these, although the one's Ive seen seem to be vertical to the earth... like a tornado funnel, but no funnel, no bad weather. Anticrepuscular or crepuscular don't really describe the ones Ive seen... but close!

Hi This day our very special girl went home. As I drove down the hill I knew she was now safe and peace was with her.We never know why these things happen but if we stay in touch with all of our being we will get messages, Maybe the beams was one of the messages.Kali thank you for sharing your time with us and making our lives that much fuller.For all that knew this very special person.

How about naming the area by the Portal Falls, "Kali's Korner."
