Avid, thank you for this link. I couldn't stop going thru this today, but alas I had to get ready for work!!! Looking forward? to continuing the saga as doubts are starting to pop in the minds of various skiers as they are skiing down.
Your point of even advanced, expert folks can get caught up in the event and allow themselves to be swept up by events is so true. Not purposely using avalanche metaphor here folks. But 1 of the women in reflection did not want to be a naysayer. That is where 1 must be strong in their convictions, know their limitations and use that old gut instinct. Be not afraid to call time out here, lets think this thru a little better, what if, etc.
