Went up to pluck off some more needles on Monday and thought some of you would like some conditions photos.

Cables

Majority Of The Switchbacks Were Dry, But A Few Looked Like This

Hi Hey Thanks for the photos ,It is hard to explain to people about the cable area until they see it! That said photo # 2 I call the VOID people will stop at the start of the cables look... start stop look think what is at the end or what's next above and many will turn around so your set of pictures give a wealth of detail. First time hikers should study these , understand that these short sections of ice and snow need to be considered ,

Wind again yesterday and cold front moved in so expect very cold night at Trailcamp , but then why would you stay at trailcamp?
Thanks again for the pictures

Great trip report, photos, and beta. Thanks!!!

Hey Doug, do you have micro spikes in stock? I am not saying they are appropriate for these conditions, but regardless, I would like to replace the set I lost in Nepal. Thanks!!!!

I'm not Doug...
but, I saw lots of different traction devices in the WPS last Saturday...

Doug actually spent a bit of time trying NOT to sell the things... Amy and I tried to convince the couple that MicroSpikes are the best invention since sliced bread.
