Richard is heading up to CL to meet the Ladies...
If KW isn't too tired from all those trips up Whitney (some of which raised a QUARTER Million Dollars for charity) maybe he could meet us?

Nice balmy morning with a beautiful (near?) Full moon. Should be a good day!

When you guys went by TC to start I was nursing a total lower back spasm, had to come down looking like Igor the hunchback. Was that you two out on the slope ? What were conditions like? Looked nasty from below.

balm·y
[bah-mee]

adjective, balm·i·er, balm·i·est.
1. mild and refreshing; soft; soothing: balmy weather.

It was so warm when I started up that I had to force myself to walk slow enough to keep from sweating... so that I wouldn't freeze up higher on the mountain... had more than enough of that in the past... there was a light breeze that bit pretty hard up above Mirror Lake! Once the sun was up high in the sky, it was very nice... Overall, it was as good as it gets!

Karin is going to tell the story of the slope.
Suffice it to say that I won't be going that way again until the next major storm comes thru. Also, my @$$ is too boney to glissade down it... some were... I bet it hurt!
