What a great lake and on a fantastic trail. Just Did the High Sierra Trail and have to say that Hamilton Lake and Precipice where great lakes. Did the trail round trip and finished up through Tamarack lake and Elizabeth pass back to the HST. Both Western and Eastern Sierra's are fantastic. A great trip cannot wait till another trip next spring in the sierra. Did Langley, Whitney, Irvin & Williamson in addition to the HST this year. Look forward to seeing any of you on the trail. I mostly hike Baldy, Ontario, Buck Horn, Cucamonga, & the triple T's most of the year. I salute all of you great hikers, backpackers and Mountaineers out there that love the mighty Sierra. Just my opinion.
