That is great that you have arranged this showing. It is cool watching the dvd but even better on the big screen. I took a group up for the screening in Hollywood and had a great time. Enjoy and be inspired as I sure am!

Bob

Is this movie available on DVD? If so, how/where can it be purchased? Thanks!

not sure they are shipping. I ordered BluRay version on Oct 12th, and it shows "backordered", with no notice of delivery. You may need to go to a screening in order to buy the DVD

I think I saw someplace that they were shipping towards the end of the month on the backordered items... but I was just looking to find where I'd seen that and can't find the information again...

The website showed the Blu-ray back-ordered, but not the regular DVD. So, I ordered the DVD.

I've looked into this a bit more and can report the following:
- BluRay version shipment is delayed. They have changed vendors but do expect to be shipping by the end of the month.
- I also noticed that you can download the HD versuon from iTunes for viewing on your computer (or TV with apple TV).
- The BluRay version DVD does have additional content compared to the downlad version. Not sure how the download version cpmpares to the regular DVD.
- I opted to wait for the BluRay version.

I don't know about any extra features that would normally come on a DVD but the download version certainly looks good streamed to a television. I got my copy a couple weeks ago.

Hi I hope more can get to this showing, the JMT hikers were way above the normal count these past two years, I have a meeting in Bakersfield and back in Inyo County this night , The State has picked Inyo as one of the best spots to put future energy projects . I want to thank them. May have a few questions also. Please go to the showing and enjoy the night with other outdoor minded folks. Thanks Doug
