Can someone give me an idea abut the CURRENT trail conditions alone the North fork of Big Pine creek (e.g. snow coverage and snow condition)? Input from those who recently hiked to the Palisade glacier area would be particularly appreciated. Also, for comparison, how deep and hard is the snow pack between LBSL and Iceberg lake in the Whitney zone (when temps drop down below freezing)?
