Here are some photos from Sunday...

The North Side Route.

Loads of wet rock on the approach to the Elephant Ear Traverse, so I thrashed me way across to he South Side Trail.

Lots of streaming water on the Ebersbacher Ledges. I figured I could have made it across, but then I would have had to deal with the down-climb, so I called it a hike.

The E-Ledges Traverse. A few days of sunshine should take care of this problem.

The North Fork Drainage.

There were people heading up... with the warming trend forecast, they may have a good time up there.

Is the store officially closed for the season? It would seem fitting that they were sent off with a dusting of snow.

The body betrays and the weather conspires, hopefully, not on the same day.

Wow those are some great pictures. The local So Cal mountains got snow too but I don't know how much. It's great to see them white again.

It looks like the weather forecast has things clear and warming back up for the next few days. I wonder how much of that snow in your pictures will melt. Bring on more snow!!!

Agreed, bring on more snow. Start the beginning of a new season.

Like the store photo from across the pond. Very cool.

Yes, closed for the season...

My hope is that we get a lot of snow this winter in the Sierra.

Although I didn't get a chance to see the proprietors and to munch on some Portal food, thank you Doug, Earlene and crew for another season.

Maybe next year 2015...

Journey well...
