I haven't been active on the board for years. I am planning my fourth Whitney hike in September, which will be a few weeks after my 70th birthday. I have promised several friends and relatives that I would do this with them and it looks like I'd better get on with it.
I have been doing lots of research and noticed that Wayne, the guy who made the GPS map of the Switchbacks, has died. I was sorry to hear about that.
I tried to go to a link of that map and it did not work. Is there a good link somewhere or is there a picture of the Switchbacks that shows the location of the cables?
