The Portal Pond froze last night, by April 11, if no new storms it will be dry but after Lone Pine Lake you may hit ice, what is happening now is the last bit of snow is melting during the day and freezing at night , I went to Lower Boyscout Lake today and the North facing sections were very icy. It would of been nice to have traction of some type , my boots are about a year old and not enough bite left.
Above LBL as Kurt posted is covered with snow/then ice say the next few weeks
