Hi Last week a group climbed the East Face and another climbed the Buttress, since then we have had storms and the groups planning on climbed took the mountaineer's route and found that very soft on the down climb. So give the area a week or so and see if people are making the Routes . A guided group headed up today for the Fishhook but that is South facing and clears fast. Thanks

EB is fairly steep and remains largely snow-free throughout the winter season. You may encounter some snow on ledges, but rarely on technical pitches (unless you get on it right after a big storm). I have climbed the whole route in February in light approach shoes w/o getting my feet wet. Getting to the base and down via MR is a different story.
Enjoy! smile
