Just looking up from town, looks like it has for the last 2 months ,as always bring what you may need to come down in the dark and during a whiteout you should be fine.
Seeing many people not having enough warm clothing, gloves or rain gear. Many starting very early mornings and getting into the upper elevations and are cold. Some are turning back.
Water supply on the trail in many locations so consider refilling NOT packing the extra weight.

The missing member of the party started full time last week so try to have a plan.

It's bee hot in the Owens Valley but largely unsettled and stormy at times in the high country. I was camped at Iceberg Lake on Saturday night. Sunday morning as we were packing up it started snowing. Like Doug said above come prepared and bring the proper gear smile.

Iceberg Lake Sunday morning July 19.

I love to look at your web camera- it whets my appetite for returning to the mountain. But I noticed today the camera is not updating and even worse it's stuck in the night. Pleeeeease have it work again. smile

There was perfect weather today. The weather gods must not recognize Betsy with her new facial accessory. I wonder if her companion made it to the lake and back without incident?

I think the lady with the nose piece is not recognizable at this time.

Her companion made it to LP lake without incident . Also back up half way for a rescue.

Looking forward to summit attempt tomorrow.
