Good Morning we found out last night from Brian that Tracie requested he tell all her friends that she was in the hospital and had a short time left.

Many on this board hiked ,climbed and travel near and far with this great lady. A very special person and family please send your love and prayers to Brian, Tracie and Talus.

My thoughts are that Tracie is not gone , just we will not see her but she will always be with us.

Saddened by the news of her passing. She will be missed by many. Hard to lose a member of the mountain family.

You could always count on Tracie to brighten up your day, and she did that.

We will miss her.

I will never forget the first hike I had with Tracie was when she coached me up the Baldy Bowl. She helped me expand my hiking horizons including doing Falling Rock Canyon. I always enjoyed hiking with her. Tracie's spirit will always be in the mountains. The Mountains had called and she had to go.

I met Tracie on this hike, Jan 26, 2010. It was a great time. She's in the white jacket on the top left of the Inyo sign.

Many hiking friends shared their memories of Tracie at Ski hut on Mt Baldy last Saturday.
There was one thing stayed in my heart was the experience of one hiker mended her difference in opinions with her when she was alive. They communicated openly about it and developed a great friendship afterward.
We should have more of this kind of gathering when we are still alive.

I couldn't agree with you more Shin!

Never let the opinions of others form your opinion of a person...meet them, talk to them, become friends with them. Let their actions and reactions towards you form that opinion!
