Hiked up on 11/28. Road was open all the way to the portal. First 1.5 miles were dry with occasional icy spots. Snow and ice after that but didn't needtraction device. 1.5 m

[*] before Trail camp snow gets 2-3 feet deep with a lot of post holing and trail dissappears completely inseveral sections.Turned around before the cables dure to knee high snow drift and ice.

Thanks for the update. Did you happen to see what the south face of Thor looked like? Clear or covered in snow?
