I just got my dear hiker..... letter also. Must be a busy year. I have summited twice and it's time for others to enjoy the same. Have fun. See you all next year.

Have not received anything and I requested all weekday starts in August. Paid by check. We'll see what happens.

Wow, sorry to hear about the Dear Hiker letters, just got my permit for a 4some on July 23 which was my first choice. I think that targeting a date other than Sat or Sun is really helpful. Rick

I got my permits, but it seems 2 of the people (possibly 3) can't make it. What do people normally do with the extra permits they get?

Got a dear hiker. All our choices were Monday or Tuesday starts in August for three-day trips. Six-person group. I figured we'd be in good shape going midweek but I guess August was really popular this year.
