I rode the e-bike up HM Rd again...
The DWP had their Snowcat up there recently, so I was able to ride the tracks up to The Crossover...
(I could have gone down the backside to their compound, but was worried about battery life with all the wheel spin.)

Just as I reached my parking place, a helicopter flew a few hundred feet over my head...I hope that wasn't about another SAR...

As expected, there were tracks heading up the Golden Trout Lakes Camp Trail...DWP has a snow survey area a little ways up from the camp...

I tried heading up to the Cottonwood Lakes Trailhead, but the drifts were causing foot deep potholes (with snowshoes), so I bailed on that idea...

Here are some photos:

From the DWP compound driveway up, I had to do the work.

The climb back up to the bike...I was surprised at the amount of melt in about 6 hours...depending on the next storm, a ride down will be probable...

See...already pavement showing...

I'vd got a couple of drone panos that I'm going to post as soon as I can edit them to a manageable size...

Horseshoe Meadows Pano - 01.30.2025

I sped it up to 3x...it's a litte over a minute-and-a-half...the first pano has such poor camera work, I won't publish it...
I'm really disappointed in the editing software I'm using...the difference in image quality from the original HUGE file to the edited version is also HUGE...
