Hello,I know this topic isn't about M Whitney but need some good advice.
I am going to Aconcagua in January and need some new boots, any good ideas?
I hear about the Sportiva Nuptse Boots are good for high altitude mountains.
Please if anybody know if these boots will be ok for Aconcagua,Denali.etc.

I recently got a pair of Vasque Ice 9000's. They are actually a double boot but not the hard plastic of most of the double boots. They were recommended by a Rainier guide that has worn them on both Rainier and Denali. Haven't had a chance to wear them up in the mountains yet, but they are pretty comfortable. Good luck boot hunting!

Do not have those. But I do have the Trango-S, Nepal Extremes and the Eigers. They are all very good boots. La Sportiva makes very high quality boots. They usually make them narrow. I love mine. So if they fit your feet well I would consider them for Aconcagua, winter in the Eastern Sierra, and maybe Denali with overboots.
