Check out Brad's book! I think you will find it a fun read even if you haven't hiked much of the JMT.

I bought a copy of Brad's book online from Barnes and Noble -- it was even signed by the author. I definitely enjoyed it. My son is pushing to through hike the JMT and I am giving it some serious thought.

My one critical comment is that, much as I appreciate In-N-Out, Portal Store burgers are better. They would never end up in the trash! :-)
