Thank you, Doug!

This board is an invaluable resource and I really, really appreciate the time and expense you put into hosting it. It is truly amazing the vast repository of information that resides here.

Thanks again. Look forward to seeing you next summer, if not before! Hope you and yours have a great Fall/Winter/Spring!

Yeah..thanks Doug! The information I gleaned from this board was extremely helpful for our entire trip out to California..including Yosemite, Rock Creek..and of course Whitney. Marisa and I were in the store and had a cheeseburger..I should have introduced myself, but didn't know if you'd even know who "BeachAV8R" was..hehe... Even though we didn't quite make the summit we had an awesome time and we'll be back...

Thanks again for forum..!

Doug-

Thanks for providing the board to us all. I flew over Whitney yesterday and was impressed with how much snow blankets the entire area already. I can't recall seeing so much this early in the year. Look forward to seeing you again on the mountain.

Thanks Doug,
The information posted on this board is priceless, withut this forum there would surely be a lot more rescues throughout the summer season. You've helped to make Whitney much safer and enjoyable for all. See you next year.

Thanks Doug ...
And to put a point on how important this board is:
The hikers rescued this week were prepared. One could easily argue that info gleened from this board contributed to that fact.

Once again, many thanks,
...tg...

Thanks Doug,

You're the best. Knowledgable, patient, tolerant, helpful, kind, fun and interesting. The message board is invaulable and as noted above has I'm sure saved many live and reduced rescues by assiting people in being prepared.
It's always great to see when we're up at Whitney.

Thanks again,

rlfstop & Co.

Thanks Doug,

this board is a terrific service. I would have stopped in and chatted and bought some stuff on my trip in August but I had the misfortune of breaking something on my right hand (I didn't know exactly what at the time)at about 12K on the MR. I had to turn around and try and get some medical attention to determine the damage done.
It turned out to be a broken finger but hey, I'll be back next year to finish what I started.

See you then.

Thanks Doug,

Being from Illinois, I don't get to make it there too often, only a couple of times a year. Thanks for all the great tips, useful info, and the phenomenal grub. Thanks for making my trip this year just as amazing as the last one. Hope to see you on my next trek. Oh yeah, thanks for the board as well.
