To anyone,

if you used a sled on the MR to carry gear, did you drag it all the way to say iceberg or UBSL, or is it just used for the road.

My buddy and I are going for a few days and have a lot of gear, and using a sled would save us a lot of weight on our backs. However, I dont know how practical it would be on the MR pas the main trail or LBSL.

Leave the sled at the Portal, or if a lot of people have been up in front of you, possibly at the North Fork junction. Beyond that, you're going to struggle to get a sled up.
