IM doing north fork (MR) on sept 25 26 I would like to tag along some one who has done it before. at least for the 25th. any body going up on the 25th? oh yes I also have an extra permit, any one interested e mail me at ajunwin@cox.net

2 of us are doing the MR on the 24th. We can give you a report at the portal Sunday afternoon.

Im a leaving with four people on tuesday the 26th with room for one more on the permit.
We will summit wednesday. We will be at the trail head at 7:30.
I have done the route many times before.

You people with the extra space on your permits...

Why don't you do everyone a favor and call the Wilderness Permit office and release the slots so someone else might get in on the fun.

Hanging on to them makes it even harder for anyone else to get a chance to hike.

The Wilderness Permit phone number is:  760-873-2483 (and then press 0).  It is open every day between 8 AM and 4:30 PM.

Just thought I would also add that I have four people dropping out for a day hike on 9/25. Just called the WPO and released them.
