I am thinking of heading up for a day hike out to kearsage pass on Sunday and wanted to know if anyone has any input as to the current trail conditions.(ice, Snow )??

Any input would be appreciated.

I was on this trail Monday to climb the unnamed peak north of Gilbert Lake. No snow or ice.

Also, I am going to Mt. Gould tomorrow (Friday). The route is the trail to Kearsarge Pass, then north on the ridge. I hadn't planned to post pictures, but will now. I won't make it a separate thread; just post to this one.

Bob R,
I wish I had read this thread yesterday, I would have asked you to take up a new pencil for the register to Gould. I was up there a couple of weeks ago and the lead in the one in the box is so hard it was hard to read the writing. My picture of my entry didn't come out, dang!

Thanks for the pictures Bob, looks like you had a great day. Unfortunatly for me I woke up with a cold and won't be able to head out as planed. Hope to try again in two weeks if the weather holds.

Looks like everyone is getting sick. I just woke up this morning with a sore throat. I don't think I'll be going hiking tomorrow either.
