I know this is a bit off topic, but does anyone know what conditions are like on Langley right now? I know I read a report in the last week that said Lone Pine Peak, etc. were relatively snow/ice free. I'm thinking of doing a quick Langley trip if anyone has any input. Thanks.

Hey Bengator,

According to the rangers at Lone Pine, Langley got dusted significantly last week (about 6 inches they said), but I'm not sure how good their info was - their reports about Mt. Whitney proved to be a bit pessimistic. But, from our hike up Whitney on Monday, we could definitely see snow on Langley... Hard to say if it was passable or not...

I'd bet you could get pretty far up though, before you hit much snow...

Take it easy
