Mt. Whitney Portal Store & Hostel Forums General Mt. Whitney Portal Store Message Board North Lake-South Lake Loop

Hello everyone, was wondering if any of you have been up on the Evolution Valley Loop (North Lake - South Lake), or at least up Bishop and Piute Passes recently. I'm *hoping* to make that trip next week if conditions permit. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Piute Pass is wide open with a patch of snow at the top as of 10 June.
