Hello , My buddy and I have a day permit good for Aug. 28th. We will be in Lone Pine on Saturday Aug 25th to camp a couple of days before our hike and to get familar with the trail up to Lone pine lake. We are doing a night hike starting at 1 a.m. on the 28th.
1. Can we pick up our permits Sat. Aug 25th, 3 days before our hike?
2. We have 2 permits that I paid for that will go unused. Anyone interested can have them.
3. We are camping at Onion Valley campground. Can anyone tell me what there is to do in that area. Any cool things to see or any good conditioning hikes ?
