Sent to me through my climbing club. Rare photos of an interesting technical hike.
---------------

HI ALL,
PLEASE ENJOY MIKE'S PHOTOS OF OUR CALIFORNIA MOUNTAINEERING CLUB
TRIP THROUGH YOSEMITE'S TENAYA "GORGE" CANYON THIS PAST WEEKEND.
WE EVEN RAPPELLED DOWN A WATERFALL AND INTO A VERY COLD POOL.
BRRRRR!
---------

More photos of Tenaya Canyon for your viewing pleasure.
I added ten panorama photos at the end of the set showing scale of
the gorge.
I sure enjoyed the group and the place. It was wild!

Thanks for sharing the photos in that area. Looks like it was fun for all. Did some light day hiking just above there along the Sunrise Peak/Clouds Rest trail Oct 7. Very nice weather this weekend, after the snow that is. Snowball throwing was preferable to jumping in the water though. Crazy. It's an awsome view into the Valley and the back, East side of Half Dome.

Wow, great pics!

Since seeing your post, I've read everything I can find on the place. I never knew there were any canyoneering possibilities in Yosemite. Thanks for the info!
