I attended the Fred Hall outdoor show in Long Beach yesterday as I like to fish and travel to Mexico a couple of times a year to catch and release a marlin or two. But, in exploring the Eastern Sierra exhibit area, who do I run into but Doug and Earlene. Great conversations as usual punctuated with areas to hike and a new approach to climbing Langley. The hostel in town should open around May 1, just in time for the Lone Pine Wild West Marathon. I'm looking forward to staying there this summer. So, if you're bored this weekend and you live down here (I'm in Ventura), head on over and say hi to Doug.
