For those who where on the mountaineering route recently, what were the conditions/snow cover like? Snow shoes needed? Thanks.

In addition to that, is the outlet of UBSL flowing yet or do you still need to melt snow? How is the coverage above the notch, can you go straight up the snow or do you need to traverse right to the Class 3?

On the mr pretty much snow covered all the way except for a few patches of dry trail here and there. Snow is hard and icy in the morning. You will be postholeing in old tracks a lot to get up there. The weather was quite warm sunday and monday during the day but still chilly at night. Watch out for icy rock on the steep sections.
