Hi The Chamber is a great part of our town , that said who's going to do the site that isn't doing ten thousand other things ? so it may take some searching but other sites are a wealth of information about Lone Pine and the area, try Owensvalleyhistory.com When the website was established we had it set for each member to build a page but that didn't work text/photos could be placed but with dial-up and lack of required training is was not used much, town is small and remote things change slow here and what would take several days other places take a lot longer here. So thanks for the interest in Lone Pine and keep searching, maybe a quick note to the County to fund a project for each town to have a 5 star website. Oh the County is in the same bind only 2% private land and rest public land with limited funding so drop a note to the folks back East and the City of LA. Thanks Doug
