The bags are packed and everything is ready to go...
I am taking a group of 10 people up the main trail for a three day summit attempt. Obviously the level of experience varies greatly if you bring 10 people so we'll see how it goes. Everyone should be able to reach trail camp and then we'll see who is qualified to attempt the summit. We'll be arriving at the portal tomorrow, hike to Trail camp on Wednesday, summit on Thursday and return to trail camp, back to the portal on Friday.
If you see an "accumulation" of 5 tents at trail camp stop by and say "hi". I'll see you out there Wednesday. Trip report and photos will follow once I get back.

My girlfriend and I are heading up MWMT for a dayhike on the 6th, maybe we'll see you on the trail. Have fun!

I'm going out there this weekend also and was wondering if you know what the weather will be like?

This is the National Weather Service weather report for this weekend, at Whitney Portal.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 58. West wind 15 to 18 mph decreasing to between 6 and 9 mph.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 42.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 55.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 39.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 55.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 39.

That sounds like sunny pleasant days, with decreasing wind and below freezing nights up on the Mt. Whitney Trail.
