I am very excited to be headed for my first Sierra trip of the summer on Thursday. Our destinations will be the Whitney Zone and the Palisades.
I have gotten tons of great info about Whitney conditions from this board, but would like to know if anyone has info about, or a place to look for current information on the Palisades. Specifically the route up the North Fork of Big Pine Creek, on to Sam Mack Meadow and Gayley camp.
Many thanks for any help!

You might call Wilson's in Bishop to see if any climbers have returned recently from the NFBPC area. They have a log for TR in the front of the store.

Laura-
Thanks for the tip!
I am assuming that the Memorial day storm had the same impact on the Palisades as Whitney, but you know what happens when you assume.
Guessing your pics from Mt. Alice about a month ago will be out of date.

Even my pics from Agassiz two weeks ago would be out of date, but you can see them here.
