Hi Gang!I've been watching the board for years and love the constant flow of valuable information.

This Sunday, 3 of us are going to head out on the HST trail (headed east to Whitney Portal from Creasant Meadow) and would appreciate any direct or indirect insight into the current trail conditions, especially beyond Kaweah gap. We've spent some time planning for the trip and made notes from other trips reports from prior years, but would love some fresh updates from anyone who has been in the area recently. The 6/23 update on the SEKI website mentions the need for "winter skills above Kaweah Gap" and "high creek levels in the Big Arroyo". Has anyone made it through yet? Any knowledge on what to expect with the stream crossings this next week, bugs or need for technical gear (ice axe + cramp-ons).

All bits of info and advice are welcome.

In advance, thank you!
