I am hiking the main trial next Thursday, July 10 and am wondering if there is any snow on the trail. Thanks in advance for any info you can provide

According to the Forest Service, as of yesterday (July 4) there was still some snow on the main trail in a few spots, but there's no problem because bare ground is visible in the middle of the trail where people have been walking. By July 10 there will have been a lot more melting due to the warm temperatures, so not to worry. You may find that the mosquitoes will be considerably more bothersome, especially in damp areas.

Hiked it yesterday. There was about 20 ft of snow near the summit past the needles on the main trail. The cables had snow but nothing on the trail. I recall stepping on snow two other times but not sure where. I think just above Mirror Lake and off the trail above Trailside Meadow.

In short, there is no snow on the trail.
