A friend of some friends, told me of an acquaintance of theirs who went up to Whitney a few weeks ago. He stopped at the micro brewery on hwy 14 and picked up some brews. This person strategically hid a few brews along the trail in various locations for his "trip" down the mountain. For reasons unknown they were never recovered. Well my daughter and myself recently went up to Whitney for the apex of the Perseids meteor showers..WOW!!..Anyhow, we had a sketchy treasure map of where the alleged booty was hidden. We actually found two of the heavenly brews and relished them on the summit! Well two more are still out there "just off the trail" somewhere near Lone Pine Lake and I have a very good idea where they are, if anyone is adventurous enough to go find them.
If not, I will be forced to retrieve them myself as I do not tolerate any form of littering. Here is a slide show of our trip. She's the middle of three daughters and soon to be married. We went on a father/daughter trip that she and I will always remember.

Great video, I really enjoyed it. I Have three daughters myself, and my middle (8 years old), loves to go hiking with me. I was just up on the mountain last Monday and experienced its magnificent wonder. Can't wait to make a video like yours with my daughters.
Don't even want to think about having to deal with the marriage thing.

Thanks for the reply...It sounds like we were on the mountain at the same time! We went up on Monday, stayed at trail camp and summited on Tuesday. As far as raising the girls..it went by sooo quick, I was happy to spend that special time with my daughter, I would'nt trade it for the world.
PS She was always the athlete and tomboy out of all my girls.
