Forgive me if that has been asked before. Are there ever just too many tents for the space at Trail Camp? Not enuf room? Any alternative camp sites nearby? We are there the last week of Aug. Thanks.

It can get a little crowded, but there is always space for one more. I am sure others with more experience will chime in. Some camp at Consultation Lake, which just before you get to Trail Camp. If you are that worried, just get there a little early.

Yes there are many spots that are tucked away on the left hand side if you are traveling up. Beware of some of the spots that seem to be used as toilets though. Just as you get to trail camp some really nice private spots upper left side.

Most camp right along the trail in Trail Camp because of its convenience to the pond. If you just look a round you will find there are a lot of places to pitch a tent in this area...not all of them will allow you to use tent stakes, and many of they are goodly distance from the sole water source.
