I am very excited and even a little bit nervous.
this friday after work i am making my way to the mt.whitney area.
my hiking partner is in yosemite so i will be going solo.
i took off monday from work just in case but im hoping i can get an overnight permit for the main trail.

ive read enough and planned enough and now its time to put it to the test.i cant wait to make that left turn off the 395 and head up to the portal.
