I save the big bucks for superlight backpacking gear.

It has backpacking gear all the time. But its just one deal at a time until it sells out, then another deal begins. I bought the Big Agnes Moon Hill 0Degree mummy bag for $119, it retails at $340. I also got the Alps Mountaineering Mystique tent, 2-person, 3-season, for $78, retails at $170. Nothing on the site is less then 50% off.

yeah, I've gotten some great deals on gear from them. Those deals are interspersed with the sunglass type deals, but I guess some folks want that stuff, too.
