It seems the weather is clearing from this afternoon (Nov 4) through the 8th. Does anyone know, or have an educated guess, the depth of the unconsolidated snow at the trailhead? Summit?

Hi No snow at the Portal just colder the last few days and wind, snow starts about Outpost camp and should drift around Trailside Meadow and continue to trailcrest, this would be over the last two systems that had some snow and a warm period between Richard P was up before this last storm and the back side was clear.
Not enough snow yet to do a straight line and trail maybe hard to follow in certain areas, so expect to beat your shins and ankles on slips . Thanks Doug

Just drove down from the Portal winds up high and the snow level is above 12,000' and you can see the switchbacks above trailcamp are about as they were several weeks ago. Thanks Doug
