My son and I did the day hike on the 17th too. We also took a couple of pix of that marmot. I think he was an actor in "Caddyshack" in his younger days.

We must have crossed paths. I think I remember the orangs shirt. My son is 13 and always wears his khaki-colored cargo vest when he hikes.

I'm pretty sure I remember you guys too. That must be a cool feeling to be 13 and summit Mt Whitney! He's gotta be proud.
